Sage of the Infinite

I frequently type random terms into the gatherer and mull about for interesting cards. Today my friends i share with you the fruits of my lack of labor. Sage of the Infinite (Sage of Hours) is a deck aimed at reaching an infinite turn combo off of the aforementioned Sage of Hours. This is, in fact, relatively simple to accomplish and it is possible for the enemy to never have a turn four. The first contender for giving us an extra turn is Blessings of Nature. If you top deck this there shouldn't be any issues; as long as you have stuck a sage this gives you an extra turn for a measly 1 mana and at the very least it will put four power onto one for your creatures for later. Next up is Ajani, Mentor of Heroes and he is definitely someone you want to get on your board on curve. His first +1 means that he almost gives us infinite turns between him and the sage but the second plus one will allow you to get through your deck and pick of sage of hours that you may be missing at the time of him hitting the board. Ring of Evos Isle is probably the second most important card in this deck. It gives us everything we could ever want, a +1/+1 counter every turn on our sage? Sure! Only 2 extra mana to protect the sage from removal? Even better! Next on our list of incremental advantage is the Immaculate Magistrate. Originally I considered running four of them but their mana cost brought them down to 3-of. They aren't nearly as immaculate as one might believe but 2 of them on the field almost net you an extra turn off of Sage of Hours. Bow of Nylea, Citadel Siege,Slitherhead and Scrounging Bandar are all honorable mentions for the primary strategy here as slitherheads and bandars can get you closer to a turn as well as the siege and bow providing extra utility as well as counters every turn.

Now you might ask, "none of these creatures are particularly strong so how do we actually WIN if our opponent doesn't concede when we pop-off?" That would be a fine question with a simple answer: Artful Dodge. This card can immediately end games in most of the decks it's in and this deck is no different. Using all of our +1/+1 counter engines and our 1-of Hadana's Climb   a 20-power unblockable creature is quite the way to win the game.

Obviously I have not fully fleshed out the mana base and the curve is not particularly refined. If you have suggestions I would be glad to hear them. If you know of better options for any of the cards in here please let me know. Additionally I frequently throw together similarly janky decks relatively frequently so do check some of them out.

Updates Add

Added Hardened Scales. Now it is easier to pop-off and go infinite on turn three onward.
