Blood Speaker can be sacrificed to put any demon into your hand. This isn't a case of cost followed by effect; the sacrifice and the search are all part of one effect. That means that if he's holding Deathrender at the time, it will trigger and pop that Demon right into play. This triggers the newly dead Speaker's other ability and returns it to your hand, ready to be replayed and tutor out a new demon next turn.

Even if you can't get the Blood Speaker loop going, plenty of small creatures that are happy to sacrifice themselves (Liliana's Steward, Viscera Seer) can be handed the Deathrender and traded in for a much more impressive demon. Reaper from the Abyss instantly recognizes the Morbid trigger if he's cheated out in such a way, while both Archfiend of Depravity and Demon of Loathing can handle your opponent's creatures while they beat him to death. Spirit of the Night is the only black demon with Haste, meaning he can immediately launch himself at your foe for 8 damage after being snuck into play.

Removal got you done? No worries, Victimize can get your demons back if they eat up removal, and Body Snatcher is an all-in-one reanimation kit if you aren't seeing Deathrender.
