This deck is intended to win as follows:

• Play 4 (possibly fewer) Leylines from opening hand

• Play Serra's Sanctum

• Play Opalescence

• Win with Leyline-creatures

Fetchlands, Street Wraiths, and Gitaxian Probes filter the deck; Gitaxian Probe also provides information, although there's no effective response to Force of Will, except for Mana Tithe (in the sideboard). Gideon and Augury Adept serve as alternate mana-engine uses.

Certain Leylines also provide useful defensive effects; Leyline of the Void is extremely powerful against graveyard-based decks, while Leyline of Sanctity slows down Burn significantly.

I do not believe that any major improvements can be made to the maindeck, but I will entertain suggestions. Considered alternatives (namely Crop Rotation [surprisingly ineffective], Enlightened Tutor [too slow, occupies Leyline spaces], and Brainstorm [using W/U dual lands]) have proved inferior. Conversely, the sideboard is undeveloped.
