I made this deck in hopes of using it for local tournaments.
Bloodcrazed Neonate can be Scary. Just as scary as Stromkirk Noble. Drawing one and getting it on the field will always come slower than the Noble, but will present a threat that the enemy must deal with, and quickly.
Bloodline Keeper is a fantastic card. The Second it hits the field it's a major threat. The fact that its non-legendary in both forms and that the effects stack just mean that running multiples makes it even easier to draw, ramp up, and overwhelm.
Rakish Heir and Curse of Stalked Prey, in combo with a Noble or a Neonate, can and will make very scary creatures very, very fast. In particular, Multiple early copies of the Curse, with it's low mana cost, can help the Noble and Neonate ramp way too fast to be dealt with via blockers.
Stromkirk Noble seems to be the staple red aggro card of the set, and for good reason. Guy gets scary fast.
Vampire Interloper is basically a hard to block Bloodcrazed Neonate. I'm finding that getting multiple sources of creature ramp is not a problem, so I've decided to add these in to lean more towards making my damage more reliable.
Geistflame Go for the Throat Incinerate Shock All these cards are here for one reason: Kill the early answers to the +1/+1 ramping creatures before they get to answer. I tried a version of the deck that focused the burn more on the enemy's life and ran Bump in the Night instead of Shock, but it turned out that Bump was the only card getting damage out and the creatures were all being rendered ineffectual by blockers. That problem is solved now.
Altar's Reap is here in large numbers so that early answers to the ramping creatures can be countered. My creature may go down, but it won't go out without benefiting me in some way. Plus, the card advantage that these offer really help keep the low-cost burn the deck features running without coming down to top-decking extremely early.
