I can see how Nin, the Pain Artist can be helpful but it appears that I'll require more stuff to damage my opponents. Melek, Izzet Paragon is pretty cool. Sadly, the CMC is higher than Keranos, God of Storms and it's not indestructible but I'd be able to cast more spells and potentially do more damage than with the others.

Jhoira of the Ghitu seems to be a great commander for an Izzet artifact deck that they should have made back when Ravnica was a thing. I'm going to get Jhoira and Melek tomorrow.

nin usually wins by combos, just so you know. aka make infnite mana: have them draw their deck or deal them infinite with psychosis crawler. i try to stay away from combos, but I can appreciate that some people love them. Jhoira can be built a myriad of ways. you can go the competitive route, and suspend big dudes then wipe the board wit something like Armageddon. however, one of the most fun games of commander i have ever played was fun largely due to a jhoira chaos deck. try Rite of Replication, Tempt with Reflections, with Confusion in the Ranks on the board; it gets hilarious. so, if you want competitive go the with the former, though personally i prefer the latter

Have you considered adding in more removal for protection against things like Pithing Needle?

+1 from meeeeeeeeee

Besides the large artifacts that really need Muzzio's ability to be feasible? (Oops I forgot to put this in the previous comment sorry)

one of the perks of having an artifact deck is access to the best ramp with much less of a drawback. i can rather easily cast most of my deck without muzzio, as well as cheat it into play with things like Master Transmuter, Kuldotha Forgemaster and Copper Gnomes. thanks for the +1.

Mastertoa Wow I didn't even see your Master Transmuter there. And I find it a personal obligation to +1 deck that I find particularly badass :)

Sadly after all of this time, I haven't been able to find a Jhoira of the Ghitu so my Izzet Artifacts (Izzetifacts) deck can hardly get anywhere. For now, I'm working on my Muzzio artifacts deck. I haven't updated it on here though. I'll get to that sometime this week.

I would try tcgplayer.com. As much as I prefer trading, sometimes buying online is the only answer

i have been running muzzio too, he is super underestimated. this is one of the nicer lists i have seen of him. you get a plus 1 from me, this is my list Muzzio Da Paliano tell me what you think, i built it on my own with lil research. there are some cards i need to get but havent had the moneys for like Rings of Brighthearth.

I also run Muzzio, and I can tell you that he is awesome. I run Expedition Map plus Urza lands. I can tell you, that is great.

I have recently made a blue artifact deck (Arcum Dagsson) and I just realized, while looking through this list, you have the "Big 3" combo as my playgroup calls it (I have it too hehe)

Darksteel Forge + Mycosynth Lattice + Nevinyrral's Disk = complete destruction of every single permanent on the field except yours and things with indestructible

I would have given you a +1, but then I realized that I already did :)

thanks. arcum is a god commander (maybe even broken) and you'll draw a lot of hate with him. at least with that combo you can prevent anything from hating you out. no lands, no game.

I've updated my deck list on here. Check it out if you'd like. Aethercraft

But Mirrorworks helps create copies of your good stuff. Who doesn't want two Blightsteel Colossi and two Blade of Selves? lol That's Blightsteel Colossus with the myriad mechanic twice. So good. Swing them at an open opponent and the myriad ability allows you to send temporary token copies at the other players.

So you'd have two Blightsteel Colossi at each of your opponents. I don't know if they would survive that. I'm totally getting a Blade of Selves as soon as I can.

Skullclamp is fantastic in this kind of deck. It draws so many cards.

February 17, 2016 3:38 p.m.

Mastertoa says... #24

the main problem with Skullclamp is that i only have 4 creatures that would die to it to draw me cards. as i don't run a lot of wheenies, it doesn't do much. i really don't need to draw a lot of cards, as muzzio plays things off the top. overall, most of the time it will be a static +1/-1 buff

Yeah I guess, but it's so good with Thopter Assembly and Myr Battlesphere.
