removed Scalding Tarn removed Steam Ventsfoil removed Burst of Speed removed Intuition removed Manamorphose removed Arid Mesa put in 4 Mountain put in 4 Goblin Lore put in 4 Burning Inquiry put in 4 Gitaxian Probe put in 4 Dangerous Wager put in 4 Lightning Bolt

wanted to improve consistency and reduce mana cost. Manamorphose is not quite as good as Gitaxian Probe if I am not casting Intuition. Also, doesn't need nearly as many lands as it started with. Burst of Speed was cool, but often not worth it. The red draw, while not quite as effective as Intuition, rips through the deck very quickly and makes it more difficult for your opponent to deal with (they can't choose, also random discard occasionally gets to them).

Maybe Magma Jet could help?I know it isn't as good as some of the other cards digging cards but it isn't a dead card after you have your Wurmcoil Engine out. I think maybe running a couple Lightning Greaves could be a good idea since they function as both protection for your creatures and in a pinch can be used for the combo. Not too familiar with Legacy and what cards are considered good or not in the format but that's my input. Also, awesome deck!!! Definite +1 from me

You need an alternative beater to Wurmcoil Engine in this deck. The reason being is that, let's say you have a goblin welder on the board already and you use a turn 2 intuition to fetch a Lotus Petal , Darksteel Relic and Wurmcoil Engine . I, knowing that you'll weld the 2 0-mana artifacts into a wurm if I let you keep them, make you keep the wurm in your hand. You then have a big 6/6 wurm that you can't cast sitting in your hand. Another reason is because my Glacial Fog deck, and anything else that is good at protecting itself from creatures without having to kill them, will just laugh at the idea of your wurm. I'd suggest adding Sundering Titan . On top of the fact that he is bigger than the wurm, he also blows up your opponent's lands which, on turn 2-3 when you intend to get him, basically means ending the game then and there. And if you happen to be slow and in a bit of a pickle, you can just use the welder to weld him into a wurm afterwords and basically eliminate your opponent's entire mana-base.

Oh thats a good idea, thanks. So you think what, two of them? And should I cut wurmcoils or something else for them?

Yeah. Two titans and two wurms sounds perfect.

what about having a Myr Battlesphere as one of your hitters? Goblin Welder can bring him to the field multiple times, he creates myr tokens to trade for whatever artifacts happen to be in the graveyard, or to buff/damage on attacks.

also, if you happen to end up with multiple wurms, repeatedly trading them from graveyard to the field is good. like, attack, trade (for creating the tokens, and now your new wurm is untapped), repeat.

Yeah, that's one of my favorite interactions in the deck. Also, wow, that's insane! I'll try to modify this when I have more time, I need to study for finals. Thanks!
