It's okay man, and if you put your deck on your profile I'm sure we'd be happy to take a look at the deck for you.

Oh, nevermind, I found it.

You should look into adding Skullclamp. It + Heliod tokens is a sick card drawing engine.

5 mana to draw 2 cards? There are better options.

@fluke32

I don't have room for Skullclamp and I'm comfortable with my card draw options for now.

@EridanAmpora

I tried Leonin Shikari before and didn't like it. This deck as no real need for instant-speed equipping.

Rout , Akroma's Vengeance or Final Judgment could be better than Day of Judgment or Wrath of God .

Mangara of Corondor for almost-Vindicate? Luminate Primordial

Pursuit of Knowledge for slow but powerful card draw?

anything from C13 that you want for this deck? a reprinted card is Basalt Monolith , any interest in that?

NensouHiebara says... #13

@Izzet

I'd rather not have all of my sweepers cost around 6. Mana screw happens.

No interest in Mangara of Corondor . It's one use only, can't be recurred after used, and is slowed by summoning sickness.

I'm running Duplicant over Luminate Primordial . Duplicant is a better fit for my deck and bypasses pro-White.

No interest in Pursuit of Knowledge . There's better card draw available than a slow, one-shot draw 7.

@Droxium

The cards from Commander 2013 I'm interested in are in my Maybeboard.

Angel of Finality is a good option for more grave-hate, though I wish it has 2 power to work with Reveillark .

Unexpectedly Absent will most likely be added to my deck. I just have to find a spot for it.

Keept the four drop sweepers but consider March of Souls and Rout as back-ups.

nice deck.

@ChiefBell

I don't want all of my sweepers to be creature only.

I recently added Planar Cleansing to my deck. There's a player in my meta that built a Vorosh, the Hunter goodstuff deck and loaded with, as much as I've seen, every Planeswalker in the colours. Being bombarded by Planeswalker ultimates fueled by Contagion Engine is a nightmare to fight. Running another sweeper that stops that insanity is better for my deck.

Nice deck, I made a variation of this and it is very fun to play. :)

i noticed that not many equipment voltron dont really run Darksteel Forge . is it bc it costs too much mana wise?

December 28, 2013 3:25 p.m.

NensouHiebara says... #19

@swkelly89

That's the most likely reason. I don't use Darksteel Forge because of its mana cost.

I run Avacyn, Angel of Hope instead. She's one mana cheaper, makes everything indestructible, and is a threatening creature.

I know you're not big on cards that are there to sync with Eight-And-A-Half-Tails but the pairing with Pious Kitsune seems pretty nice.

One suggestion i make for this commander is Glare of Heresy

December 29, 2013 3:58 a.m.

NensouHiebara says... #22

@IAmKingTony

Pious Kitsune is slow and weak at what it does. There are better options for life gain.

@Caveman

Thought about using Glare of Heresy , but went with Unexpectedly Absent instead. I prefer instant-speed spot removal spells and UA is able to properly remove Commanders.

Ha! I gave you your hundredth upvote. Seriously though, cool deck.

What are your thoughts about Serra Ascendant , Leonin Shikari , and Sword of Vengeance ? I have them in my equipment deck.

January 8, 2014 3:46 p.m.

NensouHiebara says... #25

@criture

Serra Ascendant : It's a very scary threat, especially when played on Turn 1, that paints a massive target on your head. Haven't used it for fear of turning games into 'Archenemy' and getting ganged up on, but I feel like I'm missing out on one of White's more powerful cards. I bought one online a few days ago and plan on giving it a proper try once it arrives.

Leonin Shikari : Tried it. Hated it. Every time I played it, I felt like I wasn't accomplishing anything. Never had a real need for instant-speed equipping.

Sword of Vengeance : I like it, but due to it's similarities with Helm of Kaldra it's the first to get cut for newer Equipment and has been added and removed a few times. Not sure if it will find it's way back into my deck. Making cuts for cards has become increasingly difficult.
