Good ol' Mono Black Control! I prefer Arena to Bob, which allows me a bit of a longer game, with board clears and planeswalkers.

I've been playing this deck for years, and it has a lot of different variations and card choices. This can be seen as a baseline and can be edited easily for your own person gameplan. If you are splashing colours, you are in luck! This deck can benefit from any colour;

White: Paths and Tidehollow Scrullers are very welcome! Also makes the sideboard much much stronger.

Blue: Mana Leaks or Remands are your best friends, but still the weakest splash.

Red: Bolts, Terminates, Young Pyromasters and even Blightnings! A great splash choice.

Green: Abrupt Decay, Maelstorm Pulse, Goyf - nothing too suprising but still all strong choices.

Becareful though, every colour you add in makes it harder for you to summon obliterator. Consider Urbog, tomb of yawgsmouth for that (It's getting reprinted in M15!)
