Testing out Jeskai God-Pharaoh's Gift in the new format, pioneer. Still using most of the same shell from previous standard, mostly replacing basic lands with shocklands. Sideboard is adjusted to what i believe will be the metagame (Atarka red, saheeli combo, UW Control)

How does the combo work? We can get a GPG from the grave with Refurbish as early as turn 3 with baral/goblin eletroman or Madcap Experiment (hoping we don't die). Having GPG on the battlefield and at least one Combat Celebrant in the grave we can use the exert ability to get another combat step, thus getting another GPG trigger and bringing another creature back. For combo purposes, it can be either another Combat Celebrant or Vizier of Many Faces . We attack again with the new token, exert again, get another combat, get another token. usually the 3rd exert trigger (4th combat) should win us the game. Outside of the combo, Champion of Wits is really strong and works wonders for this deck. The rest of the card help fill the grave and dig deepte
