I like the list although I think the Miracles U/W with Terminus has better reach against super fast aggro that is prevalent right now but I did have two questions... why no Remand? Seems like a good buddy with Tefari. Also why Wrath of God over Supreme Verdict? Either way for both you get a upvote from me

justavictim82: Hi, thanks for the upvote. Remand is more of a tempo card and is better in a more aggressive deck like delver. The reason I run wrath is to diversify my answers to humans which run meddling mages that usually name supreme verdict. Miracles U/W is indeed another alternative control build that has seen various success but my love for the new teferi pivots me to this build.

I can respect for the build but I would Figure Remand would be right up this decks alley. You tap out and cast Tefari, untap 2 and remand any threat for tempo advantage. Tefari I would expect to come out post boardwipe turn 4.

Like you said, batterskull isn’t all that great. What would you think of a copy of Torrential Gearhulk in that slot instead?

+1. Detention Sphere is a decent card. While I like the deck, I do feel that 4x Engineered Explosives is a tad high. I am sure you have your reasoning behind this.

I'm looking at sideboard options for my own control deck Let's Begin With Control... and I was wondering if you could give me some insight. Why did you choose Stony Silence over Hurkyl's Recall or Kataki, War's Wage as artifact hate?

Saint1129: Stony Silence brick's affinity's cranial plating equip as well as ravager's ability. Kataki can be answered by their galvanic blast and recall only buys me a turn before they redeploy everything again. I maindecked Engineered Explosives which is enough of an answer for an early explosive affinity turn before dropping stony silence to seal the deal. Stony silence is also useful to side in against tron which bricks their maps and eggs and also good against lantern control which stops their prison pieces like codex shredder from functioning. Hope that helps!

I think that 1 Blast Zone will be a good option in this list, or in the sideboard.

TheSimikBOat: No worries. Blast Zone is a great suggestion...the only concern I have is that I would either have to cut a Field of Ruin or make my mana base more unstable. I might cut one ruins for it in the end.

I'm not sure if Academy Ruins is worth it. Sure buying back EE is powerful but there are probably better utility lands with a similar opportunity cost. The obvious examples are Blast Zone and a second Celestial Colonnade but Geier Reach Sanitarium or Mikokoro, Center of the Sea could be reasonable because of how well they interact with the 4 of Narset, Parter of Veils rather than the two of EE(especially with black mana being available only half of the time).

Force of Negation mainboard might be okay to try out mainboard by a 2-of. Since we gots 4x Narset, Parter of Veils having 1-ofs is pretty okay as she helps searches for em. Just a personal opinion but so far things look pretty deece.
