Black/Red zombies featuring additions from WAR. This deck plays like an aggressive deck, applying pressure with various early creatures or generating value from the 2nd half, the later game of the deck.

Little Liliana, Liliana, Untouched By Death hasn't gotten as well of press versus her "big sis" version from WAR; Liliana, Dreadhorde General . Taking a step back and thinking about it, the reason why we don't play it is that we don't need it. We're not looking to go long, and she doesn't do anything for the zombie tribe, and at that, her passive is just a 3-more-expensive Midnight Reaper , which the zombies deck already maximizes on. That answer out of the way, why do we run lil' Liliana? Well, she does more. Her -2 is removal for after you curve into her or draw her in the late game, and her -3 is an "I win next turn" button to drastically swing the game in your favor. Her +1 has always been the worst ability on the card, but that doesn't mean it's bad. Milling 3 can fuel Graveyard Marshal or help you dig for that specific creature before you -3 her.

So, why aggro? Simple, why not? The problem with zombies before WAR gave us these shiny new toys is that the deck was awful in the early game, with only one main 2-drop creature, in Marshal. Other 2 drops exist in standard but you'd much rather play Cast Down or removal to just get by instead of playing draft filler. Now, with Dreadhorde Butcher and Lazotep Reaver , these problems are no more! Having 8-10 playable 1 drops, 12 playable 2 drops, and 8 playable 3 drops, the deck lets the curve fit itself.

If you like playing low to the ground aggro decks, or just want a funky tribal spin with amazing payoffs, try this deck out!
