Before you jump to any conclusions, this came out before the Clash Decks were spoiled. So no, this isn't a copy of one of the Fate deck.

So I had a lot of green cards. Like a lot. I wanted to use them post rotation after my old decks' core was completely gone. You don't just pull 4 Sylvan Caryatid and not play them. I also had a Kiora, the Crashing Wave and I didn't want that to sit around in my binder. I also wanted to play Yisan, the Wanderer Bard. I experimented with a lot of Yisan decks, ranging from Jund to Slivers. I finally finished in Golgari. But my 5x Temple of Mystery swayed me away from that. It actually took me a bit to try U/G, mostly because blue is my least favourite colour. Yet, here I am.

CREATURE RUNDOWN

Elvish Mystic, Sylvan Caryatid: Standard ramp creatures. No explanation needed.

Kiora's Follower: At first sight, this little merfolk seems like it's only here to ramp. But nonono, Yisan, the Wanderer Bard says whats up. Untapping Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, other lands, and Yisan is sweet.

Courser of Kruphix: When Born of the Gods came out and this card was 4$, I really wanted to buy some because I thought it was going to be at least 10$. I never got around to that. I deeply regret it. Card advantage, lifegain, and a great blocker. So great. Seriously though, I really regret not buying these.

Yisan, the Wanderer Bard: He's going to be expensive. Really. Don't even go there saying "Paying 15 mana for 11 mana worth of creatures is terrible! How is this good?" That's great and all, but he provides card advantage. Lots and lots of it. I'd pay 15 mana for 11 mana in return plus five cards, would anybody not when you only are having to pay 3 mana everyturn? You'd be stupid not to.

Nylea, God of the Hunt: Basically amazing. Provides trample for Hydra Broodmaster, pumps lackluster creatures, and is a 6/6 most of the time for 4. GRRRREAAAAAATTT

Nylea's Disciple : This would probably be replaced by Polukranos, World Eater if I had them. Hell, I'm positive I would. But Polukranos I'm too lazy to acquire. I still think that this centaur's lifegain powers are absurd, but lifegain really isn't that great in all honesty. But it stops aggro and can help in certain situations.

Prophet of Kruphix: The main reason I'm playing blue. Untaps mana for extreme Monstrositys and Yisan activations.

Prognostic Sphinx : The only non-green card in the deck. Scrying 3 is amazing, and doing it every turn is bonkers. Pro Tour Journey into Nyx showed the true power of this sphinx.

Hydra Broodmaster: The main win condition of the deck. Crafting this deck, I knew monstrosity had to be in it. Monstrosity X was the icing on the cake. He was regrettable included though. I managed to acquire a playset, yet I traded them all away.

INSTANT RUNDOWN

Chord of Calling: Not an expensive rare for no reason. With all this mana, I sometimes just need a Hydra Broodmaster or a Prognostic Sphinx . And I can't say I've never grabbed a Yisan, the Wanderer Bard.

Setessan Tactics : A complete blowout. Some see this and think "Wow, this sure is terrible against control." But suprisingly, it's very good. Killing a couple Elspeth tokens and pumping your mana dorks is very good.
