Rivals of Ixalan Update —Jan. 23, 2018

Ravenous Chupacabra is the one card from Rivals of Ixalan I am throwing in here, replacing Noxious Gearhulk. It's a well-costed ETB creature with no drawbacks that can be sac fodder for Yahenni.

I've also thrown in Chainer, Dementia Master and Torment of Hailfire as mana sinks and alternate win cons. They take the place of Animation Module and Weaponcraft Enthusiast, two of the weaker performing sac fodder (though Animation Module may return as it was decent).

Corpse Dance has been added as a repeatable reanimation spell that can bring back sac fodder or ETB effects at instant speed. It replaces Necromancy which is a decent spell but not repeatable.

Fun deck +1

Pawn of Ulamog is:

A vampire

A token producer

A source of mana ramp

Why not?

Hear me out on this one. Conspiracy (naming vampires maybe) opens up some tasty little combos.

With cards you currenty have in deck...

-Ophiomancer becomes "at each upkeep, add a 1/1 deathtouch vampire if you don't control any snakes"

-Patron of the Vein will pump all of your creatures when a creature an opponent controls dies

With cards I would suggest for the deck anyway...

-Thopter Assembly nets you 5 colorless flying vampires every turn if you have played the assembly the previous turn.

-Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder gets you a ton of vampires whenever you cast your creature spells

-Bloodline Keeper  Flip nets you a token each turn and pumps the whole squad once flipped.

The three that I suggested last I say are good additions for you regardless, but I highly recommend Conspiracy
