What about playing UB Delve? Basically what you have, but cut Sphinx, Shadowmage, Bloodsoaked Champion, 1 Nighthawk, and Logic Knot for 4x Serum Visions, 1x Opt, 4x Gurmag Angler, and potentially swap the Spell Pierce for Stubborn Denial. It would streamline the list a lot. The strategy becomes: cantrip and disrupt for 2-3 turns, then play a big delve threat, protect it with counterspells, and use Nighthawk/Ashiok for value in case they kill your delve creature.

ToolmasterOfBrainerd I love delver and have actually tested UB delver before (i eventually settled on a UR variant, which is my main deck) and honestly I just want to try a more midrange style deck instead of the tempo play of delver.

Not Delver, Delve. No Delver of Secrets  ^Flip, but rather build around the delve keyword with Gurmag Angler and Tasigur, the Golden Fang. It would still be loosely tempo-based, but midrange/control has to have tempo elements unless you're playing Jace and Azcanta and Sphinx's Revelation and 4 Cryptic Command.

What do you think about the addition of Augur of Bolas as well to smooth out the mana curve and chum for a turn three ashiok?

What about Bile Blight, Smother or Victim of Night rather than Doom Blade, all are decent removal and probably less limited, but they are still situational. If you weren't running delve creatures I'd suggest Murderous Cut, while on the subject of delve I'd suggest Soulflayer since your playing the Nighthawk it could be nasty.

Darth_Savage Ive actually considered Victim of Night! The double black casting cost scares me a little to be consistent on turn 3-4 and Soulflayer is prerty cool but I honesty think it deserves a little more all in build but i am considering Tombstalker as a finisher

saturn999 Thanks for the +1! and i really like Raven's Crime as possibly a 1 or 2 of but I'm not sure what to take out to make room for it.

I will eventually get around to putting together a side board, I honestly just haven't finalized the list and was gonna make it afterwards.

When you finish yours I would love to check it out, this list has been a blast to play and i feel like it has a decent power level.
