UB Zubera Control

Pauper

Boogdish

Sideboard

Creature (1)

Enchantment (1)

The basic idea of this deck is to use Zuberas + Soulshift to generate card advantage, while removing any threats your opponent is laying down.

Here's a more specific card breakdown:

CREATURES

Floating Dream/Dripping Tongue Zubera: These are recur-able sources of card advantage (assuming they die). As a bonus, they can also attack and block.

Gibbering Kami - The soulshift allows you to recur 14 different spells, and it's also a 2 powered flyer.

Stormbound Geist - Only running two because of it's inability to block on the ground. It's card advantage through undying and it's soulshiftable.

Scuttling Death - The activated ability plus high soulshift will sometimes let you remove an opponents creature while getting your dead Kami back to hand. And other times you'll be swinging for four onto an empty board.

REMOVAL

Nameless Inversion - This spell is recur-able through soulshift and hits a decent amount of creatures.

Diabolic Edict/Chainer's Edict - Edicts are great! This deck drags out games enough that the flashback on Chainer's is relevant.

Disfigure - There are a lot of things with 2 toughness, and spending 1 mana to kill them seems good. This is a card I'm not sure about.

Victim of Night - This kills most creatures in Pauper.

DRAW SPELLS

Preordain - We don't have delvers or shuffling effects, so this seems like the best 1 mana draw spell for the deck, and our 2 drop spot is pretty full already.

Mulldrifter - This will usually be evoked, but a 2/2 flyer in the late game for 2 extra mana seems like a good enough deal. This is the card I feel the least great about in the deck.

Treasure Cruise - Even though we're going to try and flashback Chainer's and recur spirits, this is still a very good card.

SIDEBOARD

Aura Flux - Enchantment Silver Bullet

Choking Sands - Anti-Tron/Anti-Familiars Silver Bullet.

Counterspell - If the opponent's running a strategy with few creatures, this replaces Disfigure.

Dispel - Bring in again counter-heavy decks

Duress - Another removal replacement for going up against creature-light decks

Rend Flesh - In case there are vampires, werewolves or zombies that victim of night can't hit

Shrivel - Anti-tocken/Anti-Wheenie tech

Stormbound Geist - Bring in against flyer heavy decks.
