Dauthi Embrace is currently in another deck, but it is pretty much the shiznit for getting damage through, so +1 on that.

Have you found Strata Scythe worth the loss of a land?

At some point I need to just sack up and buy a bunch of snow swamps + Extraplanar Lens since I make so many dang mono-black decks.

I'd cut:

Ultimate Price Tribute to Hunger Wound Reflection Barter in Blood Consuming Vapors

Reasons being that they cost too much mana and it's better to target than to let your opponents choose what to sacrifice. You want your deck to be quick and do as much damage as possible. Or just cheat in your creatures with Quicksilver Amulet .

Also check into Belbe's Portal . Snow swamps is what I use, they're great. Strata scythe is great with my Korlash EDH deck, looks like you've got enough mana ramp to pull it off. Might want to test it out a bit.

You could probably use tutors too. Demonic Tutor is running for around $10. If you want to get amazing card draw, check into Sensei's Divining Top .
