This deck operates quickly and efficiently. Creature control is a must in this deck and if you draw it, typically you play it. The more clear you can keep the board the better your chances in the opening turns.

The Geth's Verdicts, Murders and Tragic Slips are there for creature control. The Verdicts work well against hexproof or indestructible creatures that your other removal can't get too.

The creature base is generally cheap and aggressive. Geralf's Messenger , Gravecrawler, and Diregraf Ghoul all hit the board early and make a lasting impact. The Blood Artists are right at home in this deck along side all the creature control and expendable zombies.

Mutilate pairs well with the Blood Artist and Geralf's Messenger s. And typically this deck will recover easily from a board wipe as well.

For bombs and end gamers I've included x4 Phyrexian Obliterator s and x2 Grave Titan s.
