A very subtlety aggro black suicide deck - designed to be just plain nasty.

Best win so far: T1: Swamp - Pulse Tracker T2: Swamp - Dark Ritual - Wall of Blood T3: Swamp - Pay 19 life in top Wall of Blood - Essence Harvest (I am on 20 they are on 1) - Attack with Pulse Tracker

Apart from the combo the idea is to throw small damage with the vampires, not caring if they die because of Kalastria Highborn's ability, which also works nicely with bone splinters. Sudden Spoiling and Dash Hopes are both used to keep you opponent down in early game. Mid-game Vampire Nocturnus comes out and everything is that little bit bigger to help finish them off.

Wall of Blood + Essence Harvest = very, very nice combo :P

You should get some Sign in Blood . Not only it can give you card drawing, but also you can use it on your opponent to kill him!

Keep Planeswalking ;)

I'm not trolling you, but I don't think this deck could beat anyone except with the strategy you are proposing and the odds aren't in your favor.

But the Wall of Blood + Essence Harvest is a very nice combo indeed, congrats for noticing that.

To make the deck work better and to get the combo out for sure I suggest playing a Tutor like Demonic Tutor and think about Temporal Extortion since it buys you time or does a lot of life loss.

Fun deck - I don't agree with the cancel spells. I'd go for kill spells and sideboard the cancels.

Blade of the Bloodchief needs a place here.

Thank you so much for your suggestions, I really appreciate your time. I understand the appeal of Blade of the Bloodchief though I think in a quick deck the advantage of it may be outweighed by the time it takes to play and attach it. I think the need for creature pumping beyond Vampire Nocturnes is questionable as this is very much about early game. Most of this decks power lies in it's ability to course indirect damage, attacking even if your opponents creatures overpower yours due to Kalastria Highborn ability. Sudden Spoiling and Bone Splinters allows for creature removal and Dash Hopes allows for countering larger creatures and cards that may counter the the combo, or again coursing indirect damage to you opponent.

Piranha Marsh for more land variety? Seems to fit the slow bleed theme.
