Sideboard

Rogues are underrated and actually very cool. There are two things that make them cool: Prowl and Cloak and Dagger .

The Prowl ability allows you to cast spells at way below cost provided that a rogue has managed to do combat damage with a player. With Slither Blade and friends, that requirement is very easy to satisfy reliably. As a result, you'll be casting rogue spells that are stupidly powerful: Morsel Theft , Earwig Squad , Thieves' Fortune , and Noggin Whack .

Cloak and Dagger gives +2/+0, but (more importantly) it's shroud that an entering rogue gets as a triggered action with priority, meaning that there's no way for an opponent's instant to interrupt it. Combine that with Cavern of Souls providing protection from counterspells, and you've basically locked out control. Once Cloak and Dagger is on the board, whatever unblockable rogue you cast just got extremely hard to kill, and it's doing a reliable 3 damage a turn while fueling your deck.
