Main idea is to ramp using llanowar elves or elfhame druid to play a powerful 5/X creature by turn 3, and keep going up from there, using Aggressive Mammoth or Carnage Tyrant to finish the game early.

Since so many cards are powerful creatures at only 4 mana or less, the deck will often attempt to keep pressure on the board until your opponent runs out of answers. Shaper's Sanctuary and Thorn Lieutenant give your opponent reason to reconsider spot removal and burn spells.
