Why this deck: Utilize the power of Jaya's Immolating Inferno, Goblin Chainwhirler, and The First Eruption from Dominaria to always beat Aggro with this deck. Play early threats and haste bombs to beat Control. Jaya's Immolating Inferno can easily 3-for-1 midrange decks with 7-8 mana. Verix Bladewing is an insane payoff. Ramp from Chandra and the First Eruption allow quickly casting high payoff spells. Prevalance of Legends makes Jaya easy to cast. Soul-scar mage makes small pings from The First Eruption and Chainwhirler really strong. Ramunap ruins is banned or I'd be playing it.

Arena: The main thing we lose in Arena is Chandra, Torch of Defiance. Kari Zev is mostly a filler here, they don't reflect the main goal of this deck, but play a small role in getting in early damage and being a low-removal-priority legendary for the sake of triggering Inferno.

HOW TO BE A BUDGET DECK: Cutting Chandra, Torch of Defiance makes this deck very inexpensive for standard. Play another The First Eruption and two Weatherlight.
