This is my current mono-black demon tribal/sacrifice deck that utilizes combos such as Abyssal Persecutor

Disciple of Bolas
. This is meant for casual play, but I am also looking at the possibility of making it Modern viable (without the Carrion Feeders). The main idea is to mana ramp with mono-black to play large demon bodies, ranging from 3 mana, up to 9, and use sacrifice outlets such as Disciple of Bolas,
Rite of Consumption
, etc. to offset the downsides of the demons.
On top of this, the deck also runs lifelink and recursion/alternative casting through Whip of Erebos, and uses Deathrender in an attempt to synergize with the sacrificing effects.
There are a LOT of cards now, and it's hard to find more synergies to work with on my own, so I thought I'd ask for help/advice. I'm mainly looking for ideas to adjust the deck to obtain a couple goals:
1) I'd like to find a way to make this deck Modern viable. I don't need nor want it to be extremely competitive, and don't necessarily want to put too much money into it. That being said, I'm definitely willing to do so if I like the idea.
2) I LOVE the Disciple of Bolas/Whip of Erebos/Deathbringer synergy of being able to cheat large things into play, hit hard with them, and then sac them to liven up my hand and life total, or get to put down another creature from my hand (if it wasn't whipped into play).
I want to find more D.Bolas synergy cards, so any specific ideas for that, I'm all ears.
3) I currently have no sideboard. While this doesn't necessarily matter for the casual play the deck was intended for, the fact of the matter is that I suck at deciding sideboards. I'm really not too sure what sort of things I should be looking for.
