There are a lot of cool mono-white heroic decks trending lately. It turns out black has its own heroic anti-hero in Bloodcrazed Hoplite. He's the perfect anti-heroic creature because not only does he get +1/+1 counters every time he's targeted, he removes them from creatures your opponent controls.

Mono-black heroic may lack some of the strengths of mono-white, but it is the perfect yin to the latter's yang, removing counters and draining life (notably as loss instead of damage, making it harder to prevent), all while pumping up your anti-hero to smash through for the win.
