Virulent Swipe Discussion

Your deck gives me a chance to suggest a card the I've wanted to use, but never quite seen the right setup for, but more on that in a bit...
Conventional wisdom is that you shouldn't mix creatures with infect and those without, outside of mana dorks. It is also that you shouldn't rely on auras, as they give your opponent a 2-for-1. Invisible Stalker though will wear any aura quite happily since it has hexproof, it also can't be blocked. A card like Slippery Scoundrel might also be ok, though 10 permanents is a lot. Neither of these were the card I mentioned in my opening, that card is Elusive Tormentor Flip this card is interesting because it transforms into a 0/1 hexproof, indestructible, can't be blocked creature and can then be flipped back to deliver the 4 damage. It doesn't lose any auras attached when it transforms, so that means a 4/4 infect and the gag is you can transform it back to Insidious Mist in response to your opponents removal.
There is also a decent draw spell with proliferate Tezzeret's Gambit and proliferate on a stick Thrummingbird, both of these are worth consideration. 27 land is a lot, 23-5 would be fine and this gives you more slots. Your also wanting to play control, so Temple of Deceit or Fetid Pools is a lot better than Submerged Boneyard, Halimar Depths might also be worth considering. Moving on, a pump spell might be a good idea Virulent Swipe or Supernatural Stamina for example.

Virulent Swipe is not exactly on theme, as it would shift the deck into aggro, but it would fit well.
More on theme: Vapor Snag/Unsummon would be excellent early plays, as the deck doesn't handle aggro well. Fatal Push would be better than Hero's Downfall, for the mainboard. If you prefer more options/are running into a plethora of planeswalkers, then Boomerang (more for Tron lands), Consign / Oblivion, Disperse, or Perilous Voyage. Thoughtseize, Inquisition of Kozilek, and Unmoored Ego are good control sideboard options.
I like this, but, as it isn't that quick, it could use more control to combat aggro/burn strategies.

Thank you rdean14, i really like the Virulent Swipe, and Life Goes On suggestions, but the other 4 will be a pass. Giant Growth, and Groundswell were both previous considerations by me, but they have no other utility like Vines of Vastwood, and Blossoming Defense. Mutagenic Growth is potentially free so that's a must have for the ability to either trick or blind the opponent, Find / Finality is too slow for the deck to be effective even as a sideboard option. Dismember is the best removal because it hits things with indestructible, so Fatal Push, and Tragic Slip do not work with our fragile small threats.
Thank you for checking the deck out, KLR2808

Virulent Swipe (esp. on an opponent's combat phase), Giant Growth, and Groundswell, are excellent pump spells, I think your deck could benefit from. Find / Finality seems like a good sideboard option and Fatal Push/Tragic Slip for removal over Dismember. Life Goes On Sideboard for burn. I like thedeck a whole lot, good stuff
