My attempt at a modern Approach of the Second Sun.

As Foretold feels like a 'must-have' for this deck because it really helps make sure you always have the ability to play to make even if you have to fully tap out. As a creature-less deck, Ghostly Prison can drastically slow down attackers and buy you precious time to play AotSS. Supreme Verdict and Wrath of God will also pull you out of the fire if you're under a lot of pressure. All other cards are strictly card draw or counter-spells to maintain card advantage throughout the match.
