This is my first deck so be gentle any help with side board or main board is appreciated.

Everyone loves/hates mill decks. Here is a counter mill deck for all the mill lovers out there. You have two win cons mill them out or swing with Jace's Phantasm or Consuming Aberration.

Why not run a full mill deck? While a full mill deck is fun surgical extraction and extirpate are better here is why. Mill does not target cards, so by using surgical extractions you can remove their win cons at the same time reduce their hand size. Secondly you can leave lands in their deck to take up more space and increase their chances of pulling a land. Thirdly by using Surgical Extraction and extirpate you can cause them to search into their library allowing you to play Archive trap for free.

What are your combos?

Turn 1 if you have an opening hand with Archive Trap and they tap sac a land pay Zero to mill them 13. Then Surgically Extract for zero and remove a win con or threat to your deck. If not you can play a Jace's Phantasm.

Turn 2 play either Glimpse the Unthinkable or Mind Sculpt for more mill.

Turn 3 continue to remove cards with Surgical Extraction or Extirpate to remove more cards.
