New Year's Deck Reboot —Jan. 28, 2017

I found myself wanting to give this deck a bit of a reboot. I've chosen to focus more on the sorcery/instant aspect of the deck. Most of the deck's strong spells are sorceries and Instants so I wanted more ways to recur them.

Jester's Cap--->Mizzix's Mastery : the combo decks in my meta have died down so the cap became less necessary. Mizzix's Mastery turns my graveyard into a giant bomb waiting to go off

Saheeli's Artistry--->Past in Flames : I really wanted to like Saheeli's artistry. Too often it felt like an overpriced Clone waiting to get cast. Past in flames gives all my powerful sorceries in my graveyard flashback.

Diluvian Primordial--->Expropriate : swapped primordial out quite quickly. Too often it would sit in my hand waiting for decent spells in my opponents' graveyards. Expropriate gives me another win condition.

Chromatic Lantern--->Thran Dynamo : didn't really need the fixing so much in this deck as much as boosting mana. Thran Dynamo is great at powering into the late game.

Island--->Shivan Reef : Recent convert to pain lands.

Confiscate--->Disallow : I wanted to give the new Counterspell from Aether Revolt a try. Confiscate I've always been on the fence with due to its mana cost.

Phyrexian Metamorph--->Vandalblast: felt like I had enough clones but not enough removal.
