I tried this type of deck before.. I liked using Contagion Clasp and Contagion Engine for proliferating all those counters. Also Tezzeret's Gambit can give you a card advantage and proliferate at the same time.
One thing I noticed is that you're running 4 Auramancer, with only 2 enchantments (3 really, but Angelic Destiny will never be in your graveyard), it's highly unlikely that one will be in your graveyard, so you might consider trading them for something else.
Nice deck though. Check out my humans and tell me what you think. >> Humans Redux

Ooohhh. I see a couple things that could push this deck crazy over the top. Like pvoigt said, get those Contagion Clasps in there, put in more Angelic Destiny, and maybe try Honor of the Pure. Fun times. :)

Uggghhhh!!!!! Gideon's Avenger with Spirit Mantle equals TERRIBLE day for the opponent. Tip o' the hat for that. Add in the extra nuisance of Titanic Growth and Overrun, and you have an unstoppable combo. Major ouch! Good job, man. :)

Are you trying to make this deck the biggest pain in the butt as possible? :) With the Gather the Townsfolk, you have some nuttiness that is only enhanced by the Honor of the Pures as well as the Gideon's Avengers and Unruly Mob. Plus, looking at your mana curve, this will be a very fast nuisance to deal with. I like what you have done and I hope huge success in the FNM and beyond. :)

To add the other Increasing Devotion in your deck, remove one of your Hamlet Captains. You already have Gideon's Avenger and he should be enough for that part of the game. :)

Hmmm. I know I keep putting some suggestions on here, but have you tried Intangible Virtue instead of Travel Preparations? I know that the travel prep gives the 1/1 counters, but why not pay the same mana cost for all your tokens to get 1/1? That would be the best way to go since your creatures are mostly going to be saturated by tokens anyway. :) Plus, vigilance is a much better ability than flashback in my opinion. :)

Instead of Unruly Mob maybe Champion of the Parish? and Gideon's Avenger is nice but I think another Hamlet Captain,Primeval Titan, and Sun Titan in their place would be good also, because one of each of those titans doesn't seem right. But that's what I'd do, I play tested it and I didn't even play a single creature, just token summoned like a mad man haha. +1

i agree man...champion of the parish would be nice. gonna have to scout for some of those. thanks for the advice man

thanks Timbo..maybe if get some errors out of the way i could make it 4-1...i know you will get that next week sir

Ah, now you are ambitious. :) I have all the faith that you can get 4-1 with this deck. I am hoping deck:jaces-spirit can generate a few more wins this week. I would like to see if more U than W is more my speed. :) Thanks for the support, Pan. :)
Timbo says... #1
This is a good deck. I like the way there are many options to add 1/1 counters on the creatures. The ramp-ups make this scary. Perhaps more multiples of Gideon's Avenger and Unruly Mob could be beneficial.
