Gilder Bairn + Training Grounds + Cryptolith Rite will let you "Doubling Season" at instant speed, and costs much less. You will have to make slots for it in the list though

I thought itd be interesting to have Gideon of the Trials, Huatli, Warrior Poet, Ajani Unyielding, Nissa, Vital Force, Samut, the Tested and Chandra you want really. Just completely light up the field with naya. You can always have Jace, Cunning Castaway just to get some creatures in there. Always thought thatd be fun.

Hey, looks good for a first deck.

If you want a less powerful, but still good and most importantly budget Doubling Season effect consider Oath of Gideon.

Tamiyo, Field Researcher and Vraska the Unseen are great budget (less than $6) Walkers for a Superfriends strategy. Tamiyo's ultimate is amazing with other Planeswalkers casting them for free from your hand and Vraska's -3 is great unconditional removal.

Board wipes are very good with a Planeswalker strategy. Day of Judgment is budget consider including it. Other than Sylvan Caryatid I don't think you need other creatures.

For the manabase I suggest going with green and white as the two dominate colors with green as the most dominate. Green because of Oath of Nissa and Caryatid and white because of Deploy the Gatewatch. You can then splash blue and black. I don't think you need to worry about red because the only red Walkers who matter are Bolas and each has a high mana casting cost. Relying on Oath of Nissa and Deploy for Bolas is fine. Play a single source of red in the manabase just in case.

Good luck with your deck.

I saw an earlier thread relating to Doubling Season, so am sorry if it is no longer relevant. Just wanted to let you know that Parallel Lives is cheaper than Doubling Season, though doesn't have the effect where tokens are put on a permanent creature unfortunately

Well, I would assume that the only reason he would run a card like that would be to double his planeswalkers' loyalty counter as they enter the battlefield, for that is the ONLY way it works, but that's another story. Parallel Lives would only be useful if he were running specifically tokens or counters, for it does NOT work for planeswalkers. If I were you, shadow, I would run at least 2 Tezzeret the Seeker s for his synergies with The Chain Veil. Also, I would recommend using at least two Nevinyrral's Disks in there because it does not kill your planeswalkers. These have proved useful in the past for me, just a suggestion.
