its going to be pretty difficult to build a fast undying deck only because of the cards that are out there for it right now it is a nice build good job on it keep up the work

-3 Morbid Plunders for 1 Gravepurge and 1 Undying Evil
-1 Plaguemaw Beast for another Reassembling Skeleton

This looks like a pretty solid deck so far the only things i would change from here is the fact that youve got 5 cards in this deck that say proliferate? if your gonna run prolif i would say that you either need to be running infect or lots of sorceries that give creatures +1/+1 for the game, not just one turn. and if you want undying in there get more creatures that have it naturally or get at least 4 Undying Evils in there. not just two. if your not on a budget go for Vorapedes and Birthing Pods. undying goes great with birthing pods. also another good card with undying thats decently cheap in mana cost is a Geralf's Messenger. each time it comes back onto the field it deals 2 damage to your opponent. very good deck so far just needs a few changes made to it.

Sadly money is a concern, but my roommate has some Vorapedes I might be able to convince him to let me use. I do like Geralf's Messenger, maybe I'll get lucky and pull one or two.

I'm mostly using the Proliferate cards for the primary effect, with the Prolif benefit. Does anyone know the timing on Plaguemaw Beast to sac an Undying creature? Does the Undying bring it back in time for the Proliferate to give it a boost?

I ended up pulling a foiled Geralf's Messenger, so if I got that kind of luck, I'm sure you will too :)

Well, last night I pulled a foil Primeval Titan so I may have used up all my luck on that...

yes and no, at the time you sacrifice it, that ability goes on the stack, then the undying ability goes on top of the sac ability, so it will resolve first and come back, but you have already made your targets at the time it comes back, so you cant give it the boost.

get rid of Gravepurge, Disentomb and Morbid Plunderadd in Cry of Contrition to make you're self discard cards then use Animate Dead ,Dance of the Dead and Reanimate
tmake it a renamition deck, if you make yourself discard on first turn then reanimate of the second you can get any creature you want on the second turn

@rylei: Thanks for the suggestion, but it doesn't really fit the feel of the deck, and I'm trying to keep it Type 2 so I can use it an FNM.

I've added a sideboard. I'm looking forward to testing this at FNM this weekend.

Much love for this deck +1 from me. Although I would get rid of the vorapede for another gutter grime...

Thanks. I'd love to put another Gutter Grime. I just haven't drawn one yet.

I'm looking at replacing my Undying Evils for two Jar of Eyeballs. I found Undying Evil was rarely needed.

You have really nice cards for that mechanic, but it seems to me that it isn't good enough. I suggest you to take a look at my deck, and take some ideas for you ;)

Since you usually put one counter on at a time, Winding Constrictor could take Corpsejack Menace 's place

I need to find something that gives this a little more pop. It plays Ok, but not great, and it only seems to do a slow kill.
