Lightning Bolt is just strictly better than Wizard's Lightning , so you should be at a 4/3 split or maybe even 4/4 if you are trying to go aggro. Skaab Ruinator is not that good because you have no way to get creatures in your graveyard. To slow things down, remove some aggro creatures and put in Kess, Dissident Mage , and to speed things up, try to lean into wizards with Soul-Scar Mage and Adeliz, the Cinder Wind . If you want to be midrange, Young Pyromancer could be good, as well as Fatal Push , or my favorite budget alternative Tragic Slip as removal. Serum Visions can help set up delver to flip earlier if you are all in delver. Remand can disrupt your opponent's tempo while cantripping on your side. I hope these can help you with your deck, and happy brewing!

JtMS is the strongest, but how committed are you to this deck? Also, what's its theme, signature, etc.?

I'm all about playing with my resources and trading them for whatever's best for me at the moment. "I'm prepared to make that sacrifice"
Trading Post - I love artifacts, and I'll gladly re-purpose them for something else - then rebuild them. Every one of my resources can become another one at my whim.
Beacon of Tomorrows - When I run out of resources, this is how I get more. Out of card in my library? Infinitly loop this. Out of mana? Get another turn. Out of attacks? Same answer. This is how I close out my games once I've juiced them for every drop of power I can get.
Dream Salvage - My opponent has resources too. There's no way around that. But I can make a better use out of them then they can.
Gifts Ungiven - The illusion of choice is the cruelest punishment. You think you can choose what I get? Every choice is wrong.
Unburial Rites - The dead are my playthings. A fantastic piece of value, Rites can either give me 2 fantastic reanimator spells, or effectively a draw when you mill/discard it.
Counterspell - The classic. A universal answer that will keep your opponent off of doing anything that can disrupt you.
And this leaves my planeswalker. The only planeswalker that would fit these colors is Aminatou, the Fateshifter , but I would say that I identify more with Ashiok, Dream Render because it puts the opponents of of resources and can fuel yours.

Love the options I'm getting here. What are some recommendations for card draw, etc. for the deck?

So I was mucking about with the Anje precon and I decided to play with Chainer, Nightmare Adept . And it was fantastic. Just a precon with a few better lands and a new commander. Now I want to build a chainer deck that is a staxy, nasty, wrathy deck where I play a Plaguecrafter / Fleshbag Marauder / Merciless Executioner over and over and just keep my opponents off of creatures. So I'm doing that. What do I do to win/keep the destruction rolling after they can play 2+ creatures a turn? (I'm playing Dictate of Erebos ). I also want a handful of madness cards just because you can cast them off of Chainer. Probably a handful of the best. I have a bunch of them because I have the precon. Any suggestions for the deck?
