Play tokens generators, play "free spells" and go to town.
Sideboard explanation:
Blood Moon: Feeds on the current greed of decks in modern. Only in the side board as we do not want to reveal these G1 so we can steal G2 for a free win.
Burn at the Stake: I play in a meta where Lantern Control comes to save the day every so often so BatS is my out against those once Bridge is down. Make 6 tokens, make mana for BatS, cast it, tap all, kill them. Hopefully you can find it before the combo comes out and locks you down.
Dragon's Claw: Your out against burn or anything that doesn't have a much higher reach than 20. Grapeshot based storm, burn and other decks that race you. Also helps slow Scapeshift down as you are harder to down with Valakut.
Empty the Warrens
: Can't rely on your generators to survive past the instant speed removal and fighting a deck with low boardclear potential? Cast a few spells, Warrens, you got a bunch of tokens.
Lightning Bolt: Comes up against decks which plays creatures we can't afford to let live. Delver,Thalia,Goyf in the early game, etc.
Shattering Spree: Lantern Control, Affinity, Forest Belcher and a few other outliers get destroyed by this card when it lands.
