Picked up some fairly cheap copies of Athreos off ebay after one of the kids at my local club spent a small fortune buying random cards off me then trading the Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle (promo foil) for a Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded because thats what kids with ADHD do despite you telling them not to....plants face into table

I've had a full set of the bubbling caldron trio for a while and wanted to do something with them and then when Athreos, God of Passage came out It got me think about the combo again. So you know you sace the Festering Newt gain 4 life each opponent looses 4 life then target creature gets a -4-4 then do they want to pay 3 more life or repeat the process next turn?

and now I'm thinking about adding in some Vizkopa Guildmage to then double the damage out put from the Bubbling Cauldron so gain 4 they loose 8 then loose 3 more or repeat.

The deck is untested any idea are greatly appreciated.
