Now that mono green Stompy has fallen out of favor in the MTGO community I decided that a Green Red version might do better in the current Elfvs, Delver and Tron metta. Tell me what you think about Lead the Stampede, Kird Ape and Ash Barrens over Evolving Wilds to fix mana. My argument against Lead the Stampede it that unlike Elves there are more non-creature spells and am more likely to cast it and only get one or no creatures. Then again because there are fewer creatures its essential to be able to dig for them and have a critical mass on board. As for Kird Ape I dont know if its impactful enough or efficient enough for Stompy. And lastly Ash Barrens over Evolving Wilds. Like Red Blue Delver Red Green Stompy want the mana fast and untapped. I like it over the Wilds but let me know if there is an argument for them.

Some cards of note that are in mono green Stompy but are absent in this list. Quirion Ranger for example, I feel that because the deck is two color it doesnt create as much value because you can only return a forest. Also Nettle Sentinel is not in this list, this card is only as efficient as it is in a mono green deck because then every spell will untappe it. If Im missing something there let me know. Then there is Elephant Guide, even in mono green Stompy lists Im not sold on it. It lets you go tall instead of wide and gives you a 3/3 token but I would rather play a few Burning tree emissarys and then a two drop and a one drop. If you can make an argument for it and what to get rid of let me know and Ill consider.
