An idea that could work is adding Nihil Spellbomb it removes their graveyard and lets you draw a card and then you could also run Bojuka Bog Its a uncounterable grave yard removal land.
Hmm, that is an interesting problem you have presented here, Marin. The text for those cards reads like this: "When _ is put into a graveyard from anywhere, its owner shuffles his or her graveyard into his or her library."
Seems to me like the graveyard is shuffled into the library in response to the Eldrazi being put in the graveyard. My question is, could you sacrifice a Nihil Spellbomb in response to it being put in the grave and remove the Eldrazi and the rest of the grave from play? I believe this would be the case. If so then it works perfectly in this situation.
This looks like a pretty frightening deck either way, though! Hedron Crab and Necrotic Ooze are such good cards.
You are welcome. So basically, you just need to play a Nihil Spellbomb and have it ready in case you run into some Eldrazi with that ability. This is something I would put into the sideboard rather than the mainboard. If you come across a deck that's playing these Eldrazi, all you need to do is side Nihil in for your second and third games... if you're playing tournament rules. =)
I try to play tournament rules with my casual buddies xD, although I know what most of their decks are, I have a mono green (Yes....I DO know mono green is not the best choice :P) that is the best in the school :D. But yeah, I'll be working on this deck a little more later, right now I'm trying to get +1s on my infinite attack phase deck and see how I can improve it since it is a little slower than I want, turn 5 win usually.
try sphinx of jwar isle... or one of the titans
ya, its a good finisher. you could also add frost titan.. i no u wanted to keep it cheep tho did you see my sugesstion about the sphinx? it might work well too. i also might suggest diobolic tuter to serch for tramatize or ur artifact thing but you would have to take out some stuff and i dont no if u want that
ya of corse. how much mana do u usually generate a game and how long does this deck take to win wat turn cause i have some other suggestions for u depending on how much mana and how fast it is...
trust me youll need nihil spellbomb.. vengevine and resembling skeletons cannot be countered by bojuka since bojuka is not an instant,, if he milled vengevine after you tome scoured then you die.. if you want to counter the eldrazis then use leyline of the void then.
Well the issue is, it's fastish depending, but I feel like I have way too many 5-6 drops as apposed to lower drops, I want to speed this deck up, make it be able to defend itself early on, I'm thinking diabolic, doomblame, etc, for some more control. ANYTHING you suggest will be at the very least considered and maybeboarded. I need all the help I can get and I'm willing to listen to advice :). I want to make this into a really good mill deck.
rise from the grave is pointless (in my opinion). you might trade it out for some mana leak or cancel and maybe add another one of that artifact. you might want to consider taking a look at your standerd u/b control and seeing whats there for countering some big hitters...
Makes sense, my original idea behind rise from the grave was after I got 5 mana their library would be in their graveyard and I could grab a big hitter to protect me, but I realize now that by 5 mana, 1 creature shouldn't be saving me, too expensive. I'll put in some counters and doomblades I think.
instead of putting Diabolic Tutor s why not put in some Liliana Vess es since you can defend them perfectly and she can use her ultimate skill at least once a game with this deck for total carnage.. -1 Traumatize and -1 Grave Titan +2 Liliana.. liliana can also search for the keening stone if you are in the edge of the cliff.. also reconsider balancing your Mill and Revive cards.. identify which ratio would play best so you wont have a hand filled of revivals and hard to cast cards without milling anything yet.. Sideboard something that will counter the creatureless decks since you will be reviving nothing :D
that makes perfact sence, i had forgat about liliana good point
i wouldnt go as far as u did to take out the titans... u can serch with liliana for them and there a great finisher... i would keep them in...or at least have 1
I mean, they are a little too expensive is the issue, if you play test this deck it just doesn't seem to generate the mana for them, even the keening stones are pushing it, I havn't actually won a game with them yet. I either win before I get them out or I lose before I get them out, one or the other. I'm thinking about taking those out too, hmm...but I see where you are coming from...ugh tough call.
Haunting Echoes ? and in my mill decks i splash green mana ramp for the crab.
also if your not too hung up on standard maybe Mind Funeral and Twincast
hey both of you should add me as friend then :D and playtest my nihilium-control and help me there in return :D hahahah..
Memoricide works for the eldrazis.. just only a single specie.. but if you got PAINFULLY hit by an opponent's Elixir of Immortality once.. Memoricide would be an insurance that it wont happen again :D
hey guys can you comment on my hypergenesis explosion! por favor
a simple thought that Elixir of Immortality and eldrazi's like Emrakul, the Aeons Torn wouldnt appear on graveyards.. how the heck would Haunting Echoes be the answer to that..

I need something to do about the fact that while I'm milling through their deck, if I hit an eldrazi that says whenever this card is put into the graveyard from ANYWHERE shuffle your graveyard into your library (which I will HAVE to hit for me to win the game but it stops me from winning). Is there any standard legal card that can stop this? Because if not, mill is 100% useless in standard as long as they have just one eldrazi in their decks. :( Tips pleeassee.
