The idea is to gain early board control with Disowned Ancestor and Selfless Spirit before dropping a Crypt Ghast into Sanguine Bond for a ramped Consume Spirit

Horobi's Whisper, Oblivion Ring,Black Sun's Zenith, and late game Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim to help with board control

Otherworldly Journey helps to flicker Obzedat, Ghost Council or is used as anti-removal. (Horobi's Whisper being splicable leads to some cheap mid game removal)

Phyrexian Arena to maintain card advantage while having the damage off set by Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim, Wall of Reverence, Thief of Hope and Obzedat, Ghost Council
