The gameplan is to generate devotion to black, and follow it up with Gray Merchant of Asphodel. There isn't a lot to do in the early game, turn 3 is usually the first play. Vampire Nighthawk serves as excellent defense while also keeping you healthy for Underworld Connections.

Early game can be a problem, lots of times it doesn't do enough fast enough. Aggro definitely can take it down before anything good can come down. Going into the long game, however, it has a good time. Underworld Connections is an all star for card advantage, and it digs for the finishers. Once past 7-8 lands, it should be turning the game around quickly.
