Selesyna Knights Deck

Hello there!
This deck is focused on applying early and consistent pressure on the board through efficient knight cards and following through with board wide buff effects. The division of creatures land and enchanments (2:2:1) makes this a very balanced and consistent deck.

Dauntless Bodyguard : if this is in your opening hand do not be afraid to play this. Early field presence is important to the success of this deck.

Shapers' Sanctuary : This is great to get out early to combat control match ups (I'm looking at you red decks). Punishes removal and damage spells for targeting your creatures while rewarding you with card draw. This is the only card draw mechanism in this deck.

Knight of Grace : This is a fantastically efficient card in its own right allowing for early creature trades will generally remove any weaker opposing cards from the board upon trades.

Seal Away Efficient anti aggro removal can never be appreciated as much as this card.

History of Benalia What a card and in some respects an alternative win condition. This will produce 2/2 knights and will then buff on . This is especially great when they are played back to back.

Knight of Autumn This is your utility card. Generally around this time your opponent might have locked down some of your creatures with exile mechanics or has an enchantment played. Great to remove obstacle your opponent presents to you.

Conclave Tribunal With the number of creatures that can be played this can be played mid to late game with little to no tempo loss. This is generally in response to a planes walker or particularly nasty card the opponent fields against you.

Steel Leaf Champion When you need to ignore chump blocks or hit hard this is the knight for you. The makes this prohibitive so will most likely be played towards the end turns of your game.

Benalish Marshal This another buff mechanic similiar to History of Benalia . Always great to play during a stale mate or right before an all out sweep. The color restriction presents itself more as a late game / mini win condition card.

Shalai, Voice of Plenty This is the stardard late game win condition for the deck. This card can usually Come out turn 4-6 and usually secures you from red spot removal or other control mechanics. The ability to give all creatures a +1/+1 counters on them for makes this a great end game piece for the deck. Activating this during an attack phase or during a stale mate is great.

Temple Garden + Sunpetal Grove and an even split of Plains and Forest smooth out any particular mana cost required by each of the knights. A 50/50 split ensure each opening hand has little to no dead card draw.
Shalai, Voice of Plenty + Dauntless Bodyguard : This combo secures yourself and creatures against direct damage removal and keeps Shalai safe from all but exile or bounce effects.

History of Benalia + Benalish Marshal : This combo can combine for an unexpected buff against large defending targets.
