Black/Green has always been strong in Standard since Shadows Over Innistrad. As the old GB deck (Winding Constrictor) becomes less viable in the current Standard meta, I had the idea to build a new deck focusing on the half-baked mechanics of the multiple sets in Standard. This deck follows an aggro strategy, with many low costed, yet high-stated minions. The minions come with a catch: Revolt needs a permanent of yours to be removed, and the -1/-1 counter cards will essentially reduce their own stats if played by themselves. Luckily, these two mechanics solve each others' problems, with the -1/-1 counters being placed on a small creature that benefits from death such as Doomed Dissenter or Blisterpod , killing it and activating Revolt. Thus all the creatures benefit and swing for high amounts of damage.
