Just an idea I had, so you just Bloodrush your Gruul creatures when you can to pump up creatures in play. Then Scavenge them to to put counters on those same creatures.

If you get all the right cards it should look like this.

You need Varolz, the Scar-Striped , Corpsejack Menace and Ruric Thar, the Unbowed out on the field. Then Bloodrush Rubblehulk giving your Ruric + lets say 9/9, swing for 14. Then in the second main phase Scavenge Rubblehulk and pump your Ruric up with 16 +1/+1 counters. Could make for some great WTF moments.
