One of, if not the most, important things in a tribal decks are the lords. Vampires have an awesome lord, with conditions, in Vampire Nocturnus and Captivating Vampire isn’t all that bad either but Rivals of Ixalan brought a two drop that I couldn’t pass up, hence the splash of white, in Legion Lieutenant. A two drop lord helps apply the pressure that much earlier plus the Lieutenant has black in its casting cost which is very important to ensure that I am able to activate Nocturnus consistently.
