It really doesn't seem like vampires have many tribal cards to work with.

I've spent the better part of the last 2 yrs playing mainly EDH and I've recently decided to attempt to get back into modern.

This deck is something I threw together during standard Zendikar. (As is the case with most of my "Modern" decks.) I added Go for the Throat, Ascendant Evincar, Chancellor of the Dross, Howltooth Hollow, and Bloodlord of Vaasgoth later.

I think this deck ends up being a bit on the slow side and doesn't have any targeted removal, just Vampire Hexmage, which I include to kill planeswalkers and Gatekeeper of Malakir. (Isn't technically "targeted" removal, but is handy for controlling number of creatures on an opponent's side of the field.

Chancellor of the Dross and Butcher of Malakir can be fun in Chaos, but end up being dead weight in 1 vs 1.

I've actually got no idea what direction to take this deck in and am very curious as to how the community will provide feedback for this.
