Ive been building and playing with faerie decks since lorwyn block. Been trying to tweak and fix issues. This is a soft lock deck where u use quickling to bounce mistbind on your opponents upkeep every turn. That being said i always run into issues where im 1 turn away from winning and i lose. So ive added more notorious throng, and a complete new addition of savor the moment which combos well with sword of feast and famine. 1 copy of temporal mastery because why not get an extra turn for 2. The sideboard is constantly changing with the meta so i left it open. There are vendilion clique in the board always. And over the years ive ran into issues with turn 1 discard spells so i decided to run a different form of card advantage with the ancestral vision and aether vial. Aether vial is great if hit on turn 1 makes bouncing mistbind on their turn so much easier. And ancestral vision is also amazing on turn 1. Almost guarantees you hit an extra turn spell quickly. And notorious throng.. what can i say.. six mana to make a bunch of 1/1 fliers and take an extra turn. With bitterblossom and quicklings is almost to easy to hit with a rogue to cast notorious throng for its prowl cost. Scion of oona boosts the faeries and this deck can be rather hard to deal with. That being said it can also be very hard to pilot. Like most faerie decks you have to play reactive, and know just the right time to flip and go aggro. And same goes for the flip scenario, you have to know when to flip back to reactive. Ive tried to take that style out of Faeries by doing the soft lock combo and there is a teferi, mage of zhalfir in the board for control decks. Turns the mistbind combo into a devastating hard lock. Open to suggestions. Something still is missing, or doesnt seem right. And having more eyes on the build might help put faeries back on top of the tier list. Thanks!
