Black is coming back with a vengance! Well, not really... I just like building mono Black builds.

The key card to this deck is certainly Waste Not. My only problem is once it is gone it is gone. Lots of lifegain within the deck and combo of Lillana Vess -2 followed by a Sign in Blood to grab the card/s that we need.

Discard is pretty dominant, which should cause enough issues on its own without Waste Not on the field.

UPDATE:I've dropped 2x Liliana Vess, 1x Indulgent Tormentor and 1x Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx as I found them not getting the utility in the deck they required.

They have been replaced with (in case anyone wants to try the original deck build) 2x Swamp, 1x Typhoid Rat & 1x Gray Merchant of Asphodel
