Love this list so much. Did you ever think of splashing a couple copies of Flame of Anor?

I have made several changes to this deck, as follows:

I replaced Vithian Renegades with Reclamation Sage, because the latter creature is more versatile.

I have replaced Vedalken Orrery with Tidal Barracuda, which is one less card that shall synergize with Wandering Mind but one more card that shall synergize with Riku, himself.

I have replaced Clout of the Dominus, Favor of the Overbeing, and Runes of the Deus with Galvanic Iteration, Regrowth, and Rite of Replication, since the auras did not match the theme of this deck, but the new cards most certainly do. I had contemplated putting Flame of Anor in this deck, but the deck contains only two wizards: Riku himself and Dualcaster Mage, so that card would not work well in this deck, and I also very much wished to put See Double in this deck, as well, but the fact that that spell cannot be copied reduces its potential synergy with this deck's strategy.

Amazingly, the average converted mana cost of this deck remained the same at 3.82, but the color distribution is now slightly different.

Cool deck idea!

Here's some things I would change:
1) Most lines that play out with this archetype involve playing a payoff creature on turn 1 (and having the flexibility to play two of those creature on turn two). Playing a Young Pyromancer on turn two is fine, but in general you want to lay down your payoffs for these cheap spells as early as possible. Having 16 two mana creatures is just way too clunky. I would recommend at least including Soul-Scar Mage because it's a Wizard. Which brings me to my next point.
2) Since you're already running a Wizard-themed deck, you should at least include the good Wizard payoffs (some of which are actually played in modern). These are Flame of Anor and Wizard's Lightning, the latter of which is essentially just Lightning Bolt 5-8. But I see you only play 3 of those which brings me to my last point.
3) You need to condense your card selections down to playsets of the most important cards, if you can. The reason people play mostly 4-ofs in proactive, aggro-based strategies is because in induces consistency. If card accessibility is an issue I can absolutely understand that. But try and look at the Izzet Prowess Modern Metagame and just take all the cards that are inexpensive from that list and try and incorporate them into the shell you created - especially the instants and sorceries, minus the few you already have.

Anyway, I hope this helps. Looks like fun though =)

Flame of Anor seems really strong but is held back a bit by the wizard restriction. I think its definitely Modern playable but might take a while to find a decent home for it. Maybe it helps revive Snapcaster Mage from its slumber?

Stern Scolding seems too gimmicky to ever be maindeckable. Might see some limited sideboard play, but sideboard space is pretty tight so may only barely see play there.

Are the new Lord of the Rings cards Flame of Anor and Stern Scolding enough to stop the scourge known as Modern Horizons 2? Let me know what you think here in the comments! :D
