New hubs to be added

Hi all, I'm one of the people who adds hubs, I'm back from an unexpectedly long break, and I'm working on adding some new stuff. Suggestions I'm looking at are Uro, Mutate, Miracles, Doomsday, Adventures, Devoted Druid, and Blink. Please let me know of any other suggestions, or discussions on the ones I listed, and I'll get to work.
Also, what did I miss with the DragonShield superhero stuff?
I came here to say the same thing as legendofa did at the start of their post. Either a Toxic hub or checkbox is needed

perhaps add one for draw? basically winning by emptying your own library and using Laboratory Maniac or Thassa's Oracle or something similar.

New hub added as Lab Man/Thoracle. I'm not totally satisfied with the name, but those are the two things it's universally known as, pretty much equally, as far as I saw.

Mortlocke No updates. If it's not a checkbox hub in the very near future, I'll add it as a drop-down list hub. I noticed that the New Capenna keywords and mechanics connive, alliance, blitz, and casualty also aren't in yet. yeaGO or whoever directs the checkbox list, could you please add Toxic?

Second Draw has been added, and I see the SNC keywords and Toxic as checkbox options. Thanks to whoever took care of that.

Requesting feedback: If there was a hub named Card Draw Matters, is that intuitive? What do you think that hub would include?

So about a Card Draw tag, how about "Dedicated Draw"? It's both specific enough that you would know that your deck has to be dedicated to drawing cards, but also broad enough to include different kinds of drawing cards styles. It also has alliteration which makes it sound more like a specific existing strategy than just an overall descriptor of drawing cards.
Second point, and this one might be a little too narrow/unintuitive, but maybe "Hand Size Matters" as a seperate tag from Dedicated Draw? There are cards that give you unlimited hand size ofcourse, but also cards that care about the amount of cards in your hand (Alrund, God of the Cosmos Flip, Meishin, the Mind Cage) and maybe if WotC prints new cards like Gnat Miser and Locust Miser that could be included as well

Dedicated Draw isn't intuitive, I like card draw matters.
I do not think there's enough cards for hand size matters.

At this point, I'm going with Card Draw Matters. I've gotten a couple of requests for this theme, it looks like there's good deck variety, and that seems to be the most intuitive name. It should be up later this week.

Card Draw Matters has been added.
Immortalys Dedicated Draw does have a nice alliteration, but it's not quite is as recognizable at a glance as Card Draw Matters. Hand Size Matters is too vague, since it could include anything from 8-Rack (opponent has small hand) decks to Fevered Visions (opponent has big hand) to Hellbent (you have small hand) to Meishin, the Mind Cage and Alrund, God of the Cosmos Flip (you have big hand) like you mentioned. Each of these has a couple of established decks, and they don't have much in common aside from wanting someone to have a certain number of cards in their hand. Big Hand is a potential option, but that's going to need some research to see how much depth and variation there is.

Made_Compleat That's one of the most common requests, and one of the hardest to address. Right now, I consider Theft decks to fall under the Aikido hub. This is sort of a tenuous position for them, but I'm not sure how to separate it from the "damage reflection" archetype built around Deflecting Palm, Boros Fury-Shield, and similar cards. They have a similar theme of turning the opponent's deck against them. I'm also not sure if decks based on Control Magic-type effects are similar enough to Threaten + Thud decks to belong in the same hub. Any thoughts you might have are very welcome.

legendofa make the theft tag for permanent theft effects. Make a Threaten tag for temporary effects and use the existing aikido for Deflecting Palm effects

shadow63 Made_Compleat everyone else who has asked: I'll see what I can pull together. I'm going to be busy the next couple of weeks, so it might take a while before you see anything, but I'm trying it out in the background.

My current proposal is to split the Aikido hub into two. The current Aikido hub will become Redirection, which will include Deflecting Palm and Swerve effects. The new hub will be Theft, which will broadly cover both Threaten and Control Magic effects. If nobody objects (and please share your opinion, if you have one on either side), I will get this done tomorrow. This will be a trial run to see how these hubs get used. If they seem to be intuitive and popular, then they'll be locked in. If they seem to be causing confusion, I'll mess around with them some more.

And here I was going through forum posts confused and trying to figure out why my aikido tag disappeared, even though it was on one of my existing lists.
I do agree that aikido and theft are different, in that aikido lists may use theft, but theft decks are specifically theft decks.
Also I know I wouldn't have known to look for "redirection" for aikido, but it is logical and I might have found it if I didn't know the aikido hub had already existed.

ShieldOfHolyShadows Sorry about that. I'm not sure what the best way to spread this update is, short of starting a new thread, and that hasn't gotten much interaction in the past. Let me know if you need any help with anything for this hub adjustment.

Perhaps not popular enough to justify, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask -- any chance we can get a hub for Spores? I have a deck that has all the spore counter creatures and the closest hub to match is saprolings. Unfortunately, these aren't quite the same. Thank you for considering~

Caliberex That's probably going to be too niche. If you could provide a couple of distinct and separate examples, I'll take a deeper look, but I don't see a lot of diversity there after a quick search.

I suspected that might be the case. There's less than two dozen cards that create spore counters, mostly from Fallen Empires and a few from Time Spiral. Niche would be a fitting description. Thanks for looking into it~

Could there be a hub for Balustrade Spy/Undercity Informer combo decks? Decks like the modern and legacy versions of 'oops all spells' fall under this umbrella as well as pauper '2 land spy' and other low land count derivatives. (this is the person who made a new thread, I'm in the right place now, sorry!)

I may have missed it in this thread, and I may be overlooking something that does the same thing, but what about a hub for OTK decks?

AkvaanCJ That isn't specifically covered, but I'm not sure what should be included in OTK. My first thought is that Combo and Infinite Combo will cover most of those decks. Do you have an example of a different OTK deck?

legendofa The Commander I had in mind was Godo, Bandit Warlord when combined with Helm of the Host, but I also didn't realize Combo and Infinite Combo were hubs, as I'm only recently learning about a lot of this site's functionalities.

Kcin How much diversity is there between 12-Bolt decks? A quick skim shows a very tight decklist. Would you be able to provide some examples that show some more variations?

Currently any deck that features The Celestial Toymaker as the commander doesn't match any hubs (except Esper).

Casebier What hubs would you like to see for The Celestial Toymaker? It has a very unique wording, sure, but I try not to add hubs based on a single card unless that card lends itself to a reasonable variety of decks. If all Celestial Toymaker decks look basically the same, that's a decklist, not a hub.

Samuel_Antao_Amazonas I don't think battles need a hub. As far as I know there's no dedicated strategy for them. Decks may run one or two to support what their deck is already doing but they're not the focus of the deck.

Samuel_Antao_Amazonas There is already a Dice hub, and I agree with shadow63 that Battles aren't really a dedicated hub yet. In any case, Battles and Caves belong in the subtype checklist (which I must admit I haven't taken the time to look at recently). If the subtype/keyword checklist needs to be updated, yeaGO or whoever's in char, could you please check this out? I'll add Cave as a subtype as well as I can for right now, to see if I can get the checklist to work.

I just added Descend as a drop down list hub, but I still can't find a way to modify the keyword/subtype on my end.

Dakenboy "Second Draw" would be a tighter fit than simply "Draw." I know there are cards that take advantage of pure drawing, like Psychic Corrosion or Thundering Djinn, but I need to research how much those cards are used, and how much variation there is. Could you please link a couple of deck lists that you think would use this hub?
