Ah, so the other side of Simic, Simicontrol. You are still going to need some good creatures early, control spells in the middle, draw power, and a finisher. Not to mention cards to spend that mana you earn with Plasm Capture . You are going to want plenty of control cards, ala Cancel , Dissolve , etc. The good part about Simic is you will have creatures that can deal with the tokens made from Curse of the Swine and Swan Song . Prophet of Kruphix is still going to be a good choice as she will keep your mana open to use during your and your opponents turns. Cyclonic Rift can help with board control as well. Green offers more good finishers than Blue does, Kalonian Hydra , Polukranos, World Eater , etc. Sylvan Caryatid would be good to help with ramping, and anything from Divination to Opportunity to Prime Speaker Zegana (whom isn't great but might work in this case) for draw power. Simic Charm might also be a good choice for its flexibility, but mostly for Hexproof.
Just try a couple different things and see what works best, as Simic can be taken either in an aggro way or a control way or even a mixture of both.

Simic has a very nice curve going its way. I think that when the U/G god comes out and there might be a possibility of a U/G planeswalker, I think Simic will be quite good. I found that curving Experiment One to Gyre Sage to Vorel of the Hull Clade to Master Biomancer to Prophet of Kruphix can work quite well. The main thing that I would suggest is making sure that you use the evolve ability in a way that it will work with the curve, and feel free to put some control into mix as it can help a lot. Cloudfin Raptor is also a good choice as well.
I have a couple of decklists if you want to look at them.
Theros Simic Beatdown, which include Theros.
Quick Buff, which isn't standard anymore and wasn't great, but served me well in my intro to Magic.
