The goal of the deck is to be gaining life almost every turn by using Diamond Mare + Knight of Autumn + Leonin Vanguard and using this life gain to pump Ajani's Pridemate. Dawn of Hope gives the deck another outlet for life gain while also providing consistent card draw. History of Benalia + Conclave Cavilier + Trostani Discordant are included to help close out games.
