considering swapping out Door of Destinies for Blanchwood Armor, doesnt affect all of my creatures but throw it on a Dauntless Dourbark or a Dungrove Elder and its lethal. not sure about it yet so some playtesting is in order

To search forest and empty your deck by lands, you can add Everbark Shaman or Seedguide Ash . So you can pump your best card Dungrove Elder .

If you build an "only creatures deck" you can consider to add Ghoultree (with rancor is very dangerous!), Lumberknot , Orchard Warden (gain life, but it's to expensive), Sapling of Colfenor (to gain life and to draw!), Unstoppable Ash (wonderful: you can pump your other treefolk, you can champion Treefolk Harbinger to serach again a forest or another treefolk when it come back to play), Weatherseed Treefolk (very dangerous), Wickerbough Elder (to destroy artifact or enchantment)

If you have also many other spells, I suggest to play only enchantment as: 3x Rancor (instead of Primal Rage ), 2x Spidersilk Armor (instead of 2x Spider Umbra ), Snake Umbra , then play Ancestral Mask !!!

You can consider also to play card:Descendants' Path.

+1!

Might I suggest card:Nature's Lore? It would help you ramp some and/or help Dungrove Elder . I am also a little bit concerned about your lack of turn-one plays. Most casual decks I play against it isn't good to get behind on your first turn. Maybe consider an Arbor Elf or similar card to help ramp up to your 3-drop Treefolk on turn 2. Having 3 mana turn 2 is a great advantage and I find myself putting cards like Arbor Elf in almost every green deck I build because of that. Pretty good overall, though! Looks fun.

@decapablo i like your ideas and might make a spinoff of this deck utilizing some of the cards you mentioned. thanks very much!

@remyth i hear you on the turn one drops. unfortunately treefolk only have one card with a cmc of 1. and id prefer keeping this deck with its "tree theme." normally i would have either Arbor Elf or Llanowar Elves in a deck like this like you mentioned i should include. thanks for the input!

if you're worried about flyers you can always sideboard something like Raking Canopy which kinda fits the whole tree theme. haha

I've always liked Coat of Arms better than Door of Destinies . Coat of Arms changes more, but is sooooo much quicker at boosting (even with being more mana). Just a thought, and I love the idea of the deck.

Coat of Arms can help your opponents as well though, remember that.

That is true, though if you are running a tribal it is more likely to help you more. Anyway, its really a personal preference.

i have a few copies of Coat of Arms but i always sideboard it and occasionally throw it in when im not playing a zombie, elf or goblin deck because then i would more than likely be defeating myself.

Raking Canopy is DOPE and ill have to grab a few copies for my sideboard. if i get 2 of those out that stops most flying creatures. the fact that it fits my theme makes it that much better

I suggest that you either remove Dauntless Dourbark or Dungrove Elder , and then throw in Cloudcrown Oak . You should check out my deck "Roots and Twigs"
