My interpertation of the Stiflenought/Shrimp Deck that is one of the Pre-Modern Staples. Phyrexian Dreadnought + Stifle creates a potential Turn 2 12/12 Trample creature for 2 with no drawbacks. It is very fast, difficult to answer on early turns, and creates an inevitable board state.

What makes my variation of this deck unique is the "on a stick" principle. For example, Hapless Researcher is Jalum Tome on a stick. Than there's the hard Counterspell on a stick with cards like Daring Apprentice. Patron Wizard turns himself, and all my other wizards into Force Spike on a stick.

High Tide helps with mana acceleration and Defense Grid taxes opponents ability to cast counterspells (while Daring Apprentice can still bail you out without being taxed)... And before anyone says it, yes I know High Tide isn't Format legal. Just go with it.

Rhystic Study is well, it's Rhystic Study. It's annoying no matter what the format. BUT NOW IN LAND FORM with Rhystic Cave! Use that or Ancient Spring to turn on Stormscape Apprentice's abilities.

Some people use a shrimp on a string to lure home a cat from behind the grocery store dumpster. I'm using Shrimp on a Stick to lure home that 7th Ed, early 2000's, pre-9/11, 9th Grade nostalgia dopamine hit that my brain craves so desperately.
